This iconic event features the ritual feeding of over 70 elephants with special ayurvedic diets to honor Lord Ganesha, attracting thousands of devotees to the heart of Thrissur. It is the "world's biggest elephant feeding festival," performed on the first day of the Malayalam month of Karkidakam to bless the elephants and devotees.
