The annual feast (Perunnal) of St. Gregorios Orthodox Church, Marathamkode, features a vibrant line-up of traditional rituals, grand processions, and cultural performances spread over three days.
Cultural & Music Ensembles: Live musical band performances and artistic showcases featuring groups like Voice of Palakkad, Kairali Chalakudy, Angel Voice Amballur, New Voice Pala, Melody Voice Tirur, New Kerala Band Chalakudy, and Angel Voice Muvattupuzha.
Traditional Percussion & Melam: High-energy percussion performances including YUDHA Thambolam and Sargga Kongad.
Gajaveeranmar (Elephant Procession): Participation of renowned Kerala elephants such as Puthuppally Sadhu, Arattupuzha Krishnan, Chirakkal Kalidasan, Cherpulassery Ananthapadmanabhan, and Ithithanam Vishnunarayanan.
Illuminations: Multi-tiered colorful lighting displays and elaborate decorative structures across the church grounds.
