Naithalakkavu Pathamudayam Vela

This main festival is usually celebrated in the last week of December every year. Neithalakavilamma is the only deity who has the right to knock down the south gate of the Vadakkunnatha temple in connection with the world famous proclamation of Thrissur Pooram.
