West Mangad Perunnal

The annual Perunnal (Feast Day) will be celebrated with religious devotion and traditional fervor. Coinciding with the feast of the Holy Cross (Sleeba Perunnal), this historic parish festival brings together believers from across the Kunnamkulam diocese for two days of prayer, divine liturgy, and community fellowship.

A major highlight of the celebration is the evening Raza (procession), featuring traditional silk parasols (muthukkuda), brass bands, and Chenda Melam accompanying the holy crosses through the decorated streets of West Mangad.
