AIDA Kochi

The All India Dancer's Association (AIDA) proudly presents AIDA KOCHI 2026, a prestigious celebration of Indian dance traditions, to be held from 24th to 26th July 2026 at the renowned Chavara Cultural Centre, Kochi.

Organized under the visionary leadership of Dr. G. Ratheesh Babu, Director of AIDA, and in collaboration with Mr. Soorej Nair, Director of Natyasala Kochi, this three-day cultural extravaganza promises to be one of the most vibrant dance festivals in Kerala, bringing together accomplished professionals, emerging talents, and passionate amateur dancers from across India.

AIDA Kochi 2026 is supported by an esteemed team of celebrated dancers and cultural coordinators including Ms. Sruti Jayan, Ms. Reshma Rajeev, Ms. Bijula Balakrishnan, and Ms. Chitra Babu, whose dedication and artistic excellence add immense value to this prestigious event.

Special Honors & Awards

🏆 URVASI PURASKAR 2026

Five outstanding dancers who demonstrate excellence in three Classical dance items and one Non-Classical dance item during the festival will be selected for the prestigious URVASI PURASKAR.

🏆 Shree Jayan Memorial Award for Folk Dance Excellence

From the performances presented during the three-day festival, one outstanding Folk Dancer will be honored with the Shree Jayan Memorial Award, instituted in memory of the renowned singer Shree Jayan, beloved father of Ms. Sruti Jayan.
