The main festival events take place between September 18 to 20. A typical liturgical and celebration itinerary unfolds as follows:
Flag Hoisting (Kodiyettam): The feast officially kicks off with special evening prayers, followed by the hoisting of the festival flag at the church courtyard by the parish priest and dignitaries.
Evening Prayers & Spiritual Conventions (Sandhya Namaskaram): Holy intercessory prayers dedicated to St. Yeldo Mar Baselios. The church hosts devotional speeches and special incense prayers (Dhoopa Prarthana) at the shrine.
The Main Festival Day & Royal Procession (Rasa): The grand climax of the perunnal.
